Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Aqaba, Jordan. This role is essential for executing and supporting HR initiatives, managing HR processes, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in payroll, social security, attendance and vacation calculations, and HRIS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- HR Planning: Assist in developing and implementing HR programs, policies, and initiatives aligned with the company’s overall strategic goals and objectives.
- Talent Acquisition: Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and hire qualified candidates in a timely manner.
- Performance Management: Facilitate the performance management cycle by providing guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Learning and Development: Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
- Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations, mediate and resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Employee Engagement and Retention: Assist in developing programs to promote employee engagement and retention.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Ensure the accurate processing of payroll, social security contributions, and ensure all attendance and vacation calculations are correctly done.
- HRIS Management: Ensure proper use and maintenance of the HRIS to manage employee records, payroll data, and attendance.
- Compliance and Legal Matters: Stay updated with Jordanian labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with HR practices and policies.
- Change Management: Assist with change management initiatives to support business transformation and maintain employee morale during periods of change.
Skills and Technical Knowledge:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources
- Solid knowledge of Jordanian labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in payroll processing, social security contributions, and attendance and vacation calculations.
- Strong proficiency in HRIS systems for managing employee data, payroll, and attendance.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
