Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team in Aqaba, Jordan. This position will be responsible for supporting key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, and compliance with Jordanian labor laws. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with payroll, social security, attendance and vacation calculations, and HRIS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- HR Planning: Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies, programs, and policies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Talent Acquisition: Administer recruitment processes, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring.
- Performance Management: Facilitate performance management processes, providing advice and support on performance-related issues.
- Learning and Development: Coordinate training programs to improve employee performance and skill development.
- Employee Relations: Foster positive relationships with employees, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with Jordanian labor laws.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Process payroll, manage social security contributions, and handle attendance and vacation calculations.
- HRIS Management: Ensure accurate HR data entry and management in the HRIS, including payroll, attendance, and employee records.
- Employee Engagement: Assist in creating initiatives to promote employee motivation, engagement, and retention.
- HR Policy Development: Support the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Compliance and Legal Matters: Ensure compliance with Jordanian labor laws and address legal issues when necessary.
- Change Management: Assist in managing organizational changes and ensure smooth transitions.
Skills and Technical Knowledge:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources
- Solid knowledge of Jordanian labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in payroll processing, social security, and attendance and vacation calculations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems for managing employee data, payroll, and attendance.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
