Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Maintenance:

Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance reliability.
Monitor system parameters and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.

Technical & Engineering Oversight:

Optimize plant performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
Implement best practices for energy conservation and cost reduction.
Coordinate with engineering teams for upgrades, expansions, and system improvements.

Staff Management & Training:

Lead and supervise plant engineers, technicians, and support staff.
Conduct training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous learning.

Financial & Budgetary Control:

Develop and manage the plant’s operational budget.
Monitor costs and ensure efficient use of resources.
Prepare reports on plant performance, expenditures, and cost-saving initiatives.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Collaborate with clients, regulatory authorities, and utility providers.
Ensure seamless integration of district cooling services with customer requirements.
Address customer concerns and ensure service quality.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

Implement and enforce health and safety regulations.
Ensure adherence to environmental policies and sustainability goals.
Conduct risk assessments and emergency response planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in district cooling, HVAC, or utilities management, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of district cooling systems, chillers, pumps, and control systems.
Expertise in energy efficiency and sustainability practices.
Proficiency in plant automation, SCADA, and monitoring systems.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage budgets and optimize operational costs.
