Role Overview:
As a Lounge Supervisor, you will oversee lounge operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, high employee performance, and strong business results. You will play a key role in making the lounge a distinctive and welcoming space for travelers.
All members of the Food & Beverage team are responsible for delivering high-quality, creative, and varied food and beverage offerings within the lounge, ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Guest Satisfaction & Service:
- Foster a positive team environment to maximize guest and employee satisfaction.
- Ensure prompt, courteous service in all guest interactions, maintaining a professional and welcoming image.
- Supervise and participate in serving, seating, and communicating with guests, ensuring complete satisfaction.
Operational Excellence:
- Open and close shifts according to Manager’s Checklist.
- Implement and maintain all Service Standards.
- Perform revenue and check control procedures accurately.
- Monitor the quality of products served and ensure proper grooming and uniform standards.
- Stay on the floor during shifts to ensure adequate coverage and service efficiency.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Train, motivate, and continuously develop team members.
- Support employee performance management and implement effective training programs.
- Encourage problem-solving, empowerment, and proactive communication within the team.
- Ensure fair and consistent counseling or disciplinary actions in line with company policies.
Planning & Administration:
- Manage shifts using schedules, floor plans, and reservation systems.
- Plan and oversee repair and maintenance programs through inspections and work orders.
- Suggest incentive programs, operational strategies, and fresh concepts to enhance service.
Health & Safety:
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment for both employees and guests.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform any other duties required to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or equivalent (mandatory).
- Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within the food and catering industry.
- Experience in a 4–5-star hotel environment is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven leadership ability, inspiring teams and resolving customer concerns effectively.
- Expertise in various food service styles and customer-focused approaches.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
- Collaborative mindset, capable of fostering teamwork and managing conflicts positively.
- Adaptable, with a passion for continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
