About The Role
As a
Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing immediate technical assistance to employees, maintaining IT hardware and software, troubleshooting network and system issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations. You will also play a key role in system installations, upgrades, and security management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide instant technical support to employees to ensure smooth business operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, software, and networks.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems.
- Monitor and enhance IT security, backup, and recovery procedures.
- Assist in IT training and knowledge-sharing within the organization.
- Coordinate with external IT service providers for troubleshooting and support.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field.
- Experience: 5+ years in a similar technical support role.
Required Skills
- Expertise in operating systems (Windows, and Server environments).
- Work closely with application users to diagnose and resolve issues with cloud-hosted applications or systems
- Knowledge of database management, system analysis, and programming support.
- Experience in troubleshooting networks, routers, switches, and IT security.
- Hands-on experience in hardware/software installation and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
