Role purpose
Designs, configures and supports the Oracle Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) for real-time online and offline charging.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure ECE charging, rating and balance management in line with product requirements
- Integrate ECE with BRM, network elements (Diameter Gy/Ro, CHF) and mediation
- Analyses charging requirements and translate them into ECE and pricing configuration
- Support performance tuning, capacity planning and cluster (Coherence) operations
- Troubleshoot charging and rating issues and support production incidents
- Take part in testing, releases and upgrades
- Document configurations, designs and procedures
Required Technical Skills & Tools
- Hands-on Oracle ECE experience, with Oracle BRM integration
- 3GPP charging standards (Diameter Gy/Ro, 5G CHF / Nchf)
- Oracle Coherence and Java fundamentals
- Linux/Unix and scripting
- Telecom prepaid/postpaid charging concepts
- Testing and troubleshooting of real-time charging flows
