Role Description The Flutter Developer role is a full-time remote position focused on building and maintaining high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for eSIMCard’s connectivity and management solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing user interfaces in Flutter, integrating RESTful APIs and SDKs, and ensuring smooth interaction with eSIMCard’s Cronus connectivity platform. The role involves writing clean, maintainable code, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving bugs, and optimizing app performance across Android and iOS devices. The Flutter Developer will collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement of the mobile experience. Documentation of features, adherence to best practices, and active participation in agile ceremonies (such as stand-ups and sprint planning) are also part of the daily work.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with Flutter and Dart for building cross-platform mobile applications, including state management (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod) and widget-based UI development.
- Strong mobile development fundamentals, including familiarity with native Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective-C), mobile app lifecycle, performance optimization, and debugging tools.
- Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs, handling JSON data, secure authentication flows, and working with third-party SDKs, especially in connectivity or telecom-related domains.
- Solid understanding of software engineering practices such as version control (Git), unit and integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, and clean architecture or modular design patterns.
- Experience collaborating in remote, cross-functional teams, with clear communication skills, comfort with agile methodologies, and the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, mobile connectivity, or IoT platforms is a plus, as is experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and scalable backend integrations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience developing and shipping production mobile applications.
