We serve as the exclusive Jordan distributor for international brands including TOTO, Hansgrohe, AXOR, RAK Ceramics, KLUDI, TECE, Flaviker, Jacuzzi, Marca Corona, NOFER, Brandoni, and Ezarri. Having grown from three employees to over one hundred, we serve private clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and institutional projects such as hotels, universities, and government facilities.
Purpose of the Role The Sales Manager leads the entire sales function across two channels: the retail showroom for private clients and villa projects, and the project and tender business for consultants, contractors, hotels, and institutions. The role carries full responsibility for the sales team, achieving revenue targets, pricing discipline within delegated authority, and the professional quality of every quotation issued.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Target Delivery
- Develop and execute an annual sales plan aligned with company revenue targets, featuring clear objectives, mechanisms, allocated responsibilities, and defined timelines.
- Set and monitor monthly and quarterly targets for the team and individual salespeople, taking corrective action for shortfalls.
- Analyse sales performance by product category, brand, client segment, and salesperson to report findings and recommend actions to management.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across retail and project channels.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, motivate, and develop a sales team of approximately ten people through recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training.
- Conduct structured performance reviews, set development plans, and manage underperformance according to company policy.
- Maintain a professional environment that balances firm accountability with positivity and respect.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, sales policies, and customer service standards.
- Build technical and brand product knowledge across the team.
Project and Tender Business
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, engineering consultants, interior designers, contractors, and project owners.
- Oversee tender and large project quotation preparation, ensuring technical compliance, competitive pricing, and on-time submission.
- Manage the full project sales cycle from specification and quotation to negotiation, award, delivery, and after-sales support.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams on availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.
Quotation and Pricing Management
- Ensure all quotations are accurate, professional, and issued within agreed response times.
- Apply approved pricing policies, exercising delegated discount authority and escalating exceptions.
- Maintain pricing consistency across the team.
- Establish a disciplined follow-up process to drive conversion of outstanding quotations into orders.
Product Range and Stock Coordination
- Monitor handled product ranges, advising on additions, discontinuations, and gaps.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse to ensure fast-moving item availability and avoid shortages.
- Support the introduction of new products and brands.
Reporting and Administration
- Submit accurate periodic sales reports covering performance, pipeline, conversion, and outstanding quotations.
- Maintain complete client and quotation records in company systems.
- Support the transition and team adoption of the new ERP system.
Client Relationships
- Professionally represent the company and brands to clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Oversee prompt and satisfactory resolution of client complaints and disputes.
- Maintain personal relationships with key accounts and ensure team coverage of all clients.
Essential
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum five years' experience in a Sales Manager or equivalent leadership role.
- Minimum five years' experience in building materials, ceramic and porcelain tiles, sanitary ware, bathroom fittings, or a closely related industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing a sales team of at least ten people.
- Fluent Arabic and good working English (written and spoken).
- Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Valid Jordanian driving licence.
Preferred
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or a technical discipline.
- Experience selling to consultants, contractors, and institutional or tender-based clients.
- Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems and structured sales reporting.
- Established relationships within Jordan's construction, design, or contracting sectors.

Working Hours and Conditions
- Working days: Saturday to Thursday, following the applicable work schedule.
- Nature of the role: Supervisory position with working hours as required by responsibilities and operational needs, compliant with Jordanian Labour Law.
- Location: Company showroom and offices on King Abdullah II Street, Amman, including required client and site visits.
- Probation period: Three months.
- Reporting line: Reports directly to the General Manager / Owner.
