Barzan Technology Solutions, a Qatar-based company, is seeking a skilled Nintex Automation K2 & .NET Developer to join its technology team in Amman, Jordan.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing business process automation solutions using Nintex Automation K2, combined with solid experience in .NET, web application development, SQL Server, and front-end technologies.The selected candidate will be responsible for developing workflow-based business solutions, building web applications, integrating internal and external systems, and supporting existing enterprise applications.
- Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain business process automation solutions using Nintex Automation K2.
- Develop and configure K2 Workflows, SmartForms, SmartObjects, Views, Forms, Rules, and Service Instances.
- Design and implement scalable web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and .NET technologies.
- Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React.
- Integrate K2 and web applications with internal and external systems using REST APIs, web services, WCF, and database integrations.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, views, functions, and stored procedures.
- Customize K2 out-of-the-box features based on business and technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing K2 workflows, SmartForms, web applications, integrations, and database components.
- Resolve user-interface, styling, performance, and application compatibility issues.
- Work closely with business users, analysts, subject-matter experts, and technical teams to understand requirements and define solution scope.
- Translate business requirements into effective technical designs and automated workflows.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution design documents, integration test plans, release notes, and deployment documentation.
- Support application deployments across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
- Ensure solutions follow software-development standards, security requirements, and development best practices.
- Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Senior-level experience in software development and/or business process automation.
- Practical experience developing:
- K2 Workflows
- K2 SmartForms
- K2 SmartObjects
- K2 Rules and Views
- K2 system integrations
- Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and object-oriented programming.
- Good knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Experience with React or another modern front-end framework is an advantage.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including:
- Database design
- Complex SQL queries
- Stored procedures
- Views and functions
- Query optimization and performance tuning
- Experience integrating applications using REST APIs, SOAP web services, or WCF.
- Ability to analyze business processes and convert them into automated technical solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Preferred SkillsExperience with the latest versions of Nintex Automation K2.
- Experience developing custom K2 controls, service brokers, or .NET-based extensions.
- Knowledge of JavaScript libraries and front-end UI frameworks.
- Experience with enterprise application integration.
- Familiarity with source-control and work-management tools such as Git, TFS, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of software design patterns and clean-code principles.
- Experience preparing technical, deployment, and release documentation.
- Experience supporting enterprise workflow systems in production environments.
- Previous experience in insurance, finance, utilities, or other process-driven industries is an advantage.
- Experience RequirementsNintex Automation K2 / BPM: 5 years minimum
- .NET and C# Development: 5 years minimum
- SQL Server and Web Development: Good practical experience
