Job Purpose:
The Senior Treasury Officer supports the Treasury Manager in managing the Company’s daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, payments, banking transactions, cash-flow monitoring, reconciliations, and treasury documentation. The role ensures that treasury transactions are executed accurately, on time, and in accordance with the approved Delegation of Authority (DoA), financial policies, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily bank balances and prepare the daily cash position
- Support the preparation and updating of weekly, monthly, and long-term cash-flow forecasts
- Process local and international payments, payroll funding, and supplier/contractor payments
- Coordinate with banks on transfers, account administration, and banking documentation
- Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding transactions
- Support the issuance, amendment, and renewal of bank guarantees and letters of credit
- Prepare treasury reports, cash summaries, and payment trackers for management
- Support internal and external audits with required treasury documentation
- Ensure full compliance with the approved Delegation of Authority (DoA) and internal controls
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, CTP or equivalent) is an advantage
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in treasury, banking, accounting, or corporate finance
- Experience in large-scale projects (EPC, energy, infrastructure, construction) or multinational organizations is preferred
- Hands-on experience in cash management, bank transactions, and reconciliations
- Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) with strong Excel skills
