Key Accountabilities:
AML & Compliance Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with AML/CFT regulations, CBJ requirements, and internal policies.
- Review suspicious transactions and investigate unusual activities.
- Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.
- Ensure proper implementation of KYC and sanctions screening controls.
- Prepare regulatory and compliance reports related to AML activities.
- Coordinate with regulators, auditors, and internal departments regarding compliance matters.
- Support awareness sessions and training related to AML and compliance requirements.
Risk Management Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, compliance, and fraud risks across business operations.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls.
- Develop and maintain risk registers, risk indicators, and mitigation plans.
- Monitor risk exposure and recommend corrective/preventive actions to minimize potential impact.
- Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and risk remediation activities.
- Review new products, services, and processes to identify potential risks before implementation.
- Ensure business activities are aligned with the organization’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and enhancement of risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare periodic risk reports and dashboards for management and relevant committees.
- Follow up on audit findings, compliance gaps, and risk-related action plans until closure.
- Assess third-party/vendor risks and ensure adequate controls are implemented.
- Promote risk awareness culture across departments and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting.
- 5–7 years of practical experience in risk management, AML/CTF compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Professional certifications in AML, compliance, and risk, including ) CAMS, CCM, GRCP, CRMA)
