Role Summary
The UX/UI Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across products, web, and mobile applications. The role involves translating business and user needs into effective designs while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging design systems and AI tools to improve efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user-centered interfaces for products, web and mobile applications, from concept through to final delivery.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across products.
- Stay up to date on emerging AI tools and incorporate them into the design workflow where useful.
- Use AI tools to accelerate and streamline the design process.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver innovative, user-centered solutions.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and design validation to inform and improve design decisions.
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, accessible user interfaces.
- Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and optimized across devices.
- Present design concepts to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Variables, Prototyping, and Design Systems.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with AI-assisted design workflows, including tools such as Claude Code, Claude Design, and other emerging AI-powered design and prototyping tools.
- Strong ability to create scalable design systems, component libraries, and reusable design patterns.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a UX/UI Designer or Product Designer, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Experience using AI-powered tools as part of product design is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of current UX/UI trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
