Role Description The Software Quality Assurance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman. This position is responsible for designing and executing test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. Daily tasks include performing manual testing, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with software developers to resolve issues, and verifying fixes. The role also involves participating in requirements reviews, contributing to quality standards and best practices, and supporting continuous improvement of testing processes. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to help deliver stable, high-performance solutions for ERP and e-commerce platforms.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance.
- Candidates should possess solid Manual Testing skills for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Candidates should possess foundational Software Development knowledge to understand code changes and system behavior.
- Experience with test case management tools, bug tracking systems, and version control platforms is beneficial.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, e-commerce platforms, or process automation solutions is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and clear documentation practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical issues in a clear, structured way.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
