At EFS Facilities Services, we are looking to onboard a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Procurement specialistto support procurement operations and ensure the timely availability of materials, equipment, and services required for business and project needs. This role is critical in driving procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and cost optimization while maintaining compliance with company procurement policies.
🔍 Role Overview
The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing purchase requests, obtaining supplier quotations, issuing purchase orders, and following up on deliveries in line with project and operational requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong coordination skills, commercial acumen, and experience working in fast-paced operational environments.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchase requisitions and process purchase orders in accordance with company procurement procedures.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations (RFQs), compare pricing, and recommend cost-effective procurement solutions.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Track purchase orders and follow up on pending deliveries to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain procurement documentation, supplier records, contracts, and purchase history accurately.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and provide timely support.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or service levels.
- Prepare procurement reports and support spend analysis and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
✅ What We're Looking For
- 4–6 years of procurement experience, preferably in Operations, Facilities Management, Waste Management, Logistics, Industrial Services, or related sectors.
- Strong experience in RFQ management, supplier coordination, purchase order processing, and delivery follow-up.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent documentation, coordination, and follow-up abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
🎓 Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
- Professional Procurement or Supply Chain certifications will be an added advantage.
