Role Overview:
REACH World is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s accounting functions and financial records. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, recording transactions, performing reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve differences.
- Prepare bank transfers and follow up on banking transactions.
- Reconcile accounts with the department manager when required.
- Prepare periodic financial and accounting reports.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documents.
- Ensure confidentiality of financial data and maintain system backups.
- Follow company financial procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
- Support audits and provide required documents when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field,
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge in ERP System (Odoo) is an advantage
