The Insurance Agent will help individuals and businesses understand, select, and maintain insurance products that meet their protection and financial needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with prospective and existing customers, assessing their risk profile and financial priorities, and recommending appropriate insurance solutions. The role also involves preparing and explaining policy proposals, supporting customers through the application and underwriting process, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions and agreements. In addition, the Insurance Agent will follow up on renewals, respond to inquiries and claims-related questions, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality customer experiences and compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance with the ability to interpret and discuss Financial Statements to support client needs and product recommendations.
- Experience in Assurance Services or related advisory work, with an understanding of risk assessment and compliance considerations.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to evaluate client profiles, compare insurance options, and identify suitable coverage solutions.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal explanation and concise written
- documentation for diverse customers.
- Prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is preferred.
- Ability to build long-term, trust-based customer relationships and work effectively in an on-site team environment.
- Comfort with using digital tools and CRM systems to manage leads, policies, and customer records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is an advantage; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
