JOB PURPOSE
The Tax Services Specialist at Azadea's Business Services is responsible for
executing the tax process and assisting in the preparation of tax returns across
all countries of the group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect the necessary data for the group's tax filings, including all direct and
indirect taxes (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, WHT, etc.) for the relevant
countries.
- Prepare and maintain the necessary reports and reconciliations for the
timely and accurate preparation of tax returns for all direct and indirect
taxes for the relevant countries.
- Review data, accounting transactions, and supporting documentation to
ensure full compliance with the group's tax policies and procedures, as well
as local tax legislation for all direct and indirect taxes for the relevant
countries.
- Collaborate closely with the regional tax team and subordinates on all taxrelated
queries to ensure the provision of accurate and timely information.
- Support the regional tax team in preparing the documents and
reconciliations required for tax audits or tax filings conducted at the group
level.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is delivered and maintained by
meeting all internal SLAs and promptly following up on requests, ensuring
internal customers are satisfied.
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL
SKILLS
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Fluency in French is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or finance, or a related field.
Master’s degree is a plus.
EXPERIENCE
Two to four years of experience in Accounting and Tax Compliance, or a similar role.
Big four or large group experience is a plus.
