Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Amman for an Accountant. The Accountant will manage the preparation of financial records, reconcile accounts, and oversee day-to-day financial transactions. Responsibilities include processing invoices, monitoring budgets, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. Additionally, the role involves generating financial reports, maintaining accurate account balances, and assisting with audits as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and General Ledger Management
- Proficiency in Accounting Software, Excel, and ERP Systems
- Understanding of Tax Compliance, Auditing Processes, and Local Financial Regulations
- Attention to detail, Analytical Thinking, and Problem-Solving Skills
- Effective Time Management and Organizational Skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus
- Prior experience in industrial or supply chain sectors is advantageous
