Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Client Payments Ofiicer to join our Finance team. You will own end-to-end payments operations including processing, reconciliations, transaction monitoring, reporting, and investigations ensuring all client transactions are handled accurately and within SLA.
Responsibilities
- Process daily local and international payments across entities to customers within the defined SLA.
- Reconcile and credit client deposits in real time by comparing bank statements to platform entries.
- Perform daily reconciliation of customer deposits and withdrawals, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Handle L2 queries from the CS and Compliance teams
- Document, escalate and resolve transaction breaks and exceptions
- Co-ordinate with the treasury team to provide KYC documents for clients as requested
- Complete monthly reconciliation activities within SLA
- Calculate and analyze revenue on a daily basis
- Support internal and external audits across all entities
- Adhere to all internal control policies and ensure that the process remains under infosec, compliance and regulatory guideline at all times.
- Identify areas and propose ideas for automating operational processes
- Create, update and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in payments operations
- Prior experience at an international bank, fintech, or payments company
- Experience with high-value, high-risk payment processes is strongly preferred
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight SLAs
Cryptocurrency or digital assets knowledge is a distinct
