Job title: Community Development Center Supervisor

Overall Objective of the Position:
To plan, organize, and implement local development programs that address actual community needs, based on reliable data and studies, while enhancing coordination among various sectors to achieve sustainable and practical results at the local and governorate levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement annual and operational plans based on actual community needs and priorities.
- Conduct needs assessments for local communities using official data, statistics, and field studies.
- Prepare studies, research papers, and project proposals that support local development goals and funding opportunities.
- Translate identified needs into practical and achievable programs and initiatives within available resources.
- Coordinate and document activities and services implemented by different stakeholders within the local community to ensure efficient use of resources and avoid duplication.
- Monitor the progress of activities, follow up on implementation, and prepare periodic reports on results and performance indicators.
- Support efforts to mobilize financial and moral support from the local community, partners, and donors.
- Strengthen partnerships and coordination with government institutions, the private sector, and civil society to support development efforts.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the successful execution of local and national development projects.
- Participate in organizing and implementing community campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Support administrative and financial procedures related to local development activities.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in development, coordination, or community work.
- Strong practical understanding of local development processes and community needs assessment methods.
- Experience in conducting studies, preparing research and project proposals.
- Experience in planning, implementation, reporting, and coordination of field activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Administrative and financial management skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications related to project management, research, and reporting.
- Fluency in Arabic and good command of English (spoken and written).
- Strong report writing and documentation skills.
- PMP certification (preferred).
Skills in project monitoring and evaluation.
