To translate market access insights into actionable strategies, plans, and tools, and to support the implementation of market access activities aligned with established commercial and business strategies, contributing to our regional market access objectives and sustainable growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Development and execution of Market Access strategies in alignment with functional and commercial objectives.
- Own market access planning for assigned products, therapeutic areas, countries, or clusters to ensure timely and sustainable access outcomes.
- Provide strategic input into launch planning, lifecycle management, and portfolio prioritization from a payer and reimbursement perspective.
- Support the development, enhancement, and implementation of Market Access policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with internal governance and external regulatory and HTA requirements.
- Ensure consistent application of market access frameworks and best practices across markets.
- Development of evidence-based tools and value dossiers in close collaboration with Medical, Commercial, HEOR, and other relevant functions.
- Lead or coordinate the development of pharmacoeconomic and outcomes studies to support pricing, reimbursement, enlisting, and formulary submissions.
- Implement and apply HTA frameworks and models to support evidence-based pricing and national reimbursement decisions for strategic products.
- Lead pricing and reimbursement strategies for assigned markets/products, providing clear recommendations and trade‑offs to support sustainable access and commercial success.
- Design, implement, and oversee patient access initiatives and innovative access programs, including public–private partnerships, to address access barriers and accelerate patient uptake.
- Act as a key Market Access partner to cross‑functional teams (Medical, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain) to ensure alignment and integration of access considerations into business planning.
- Work closely with local country teams to tailor strategies to local market dynamics and ensure effective execution.
- Develop and support external stakeholder engagement activities with payers, HTA bodies, and relevant decision‑makers, in alignment with regional strategies.
- Monitor and help shape evolving payer and HTA requirements, sharing insights internally to inform access strategies.
- Prepare timely, accurate, and high-quality market access analyses, reports, and presentations in line with organizational standards and governance.
- Clearly communicate market access insights, progress, and risks to internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve market access tools, processes, and ways of working, incorporating international best practices.
- Perform other related duties or assignments as required to support Market Access and Commercial objectives.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- Master’s degree (e.g., Health Economics, Public Health, MBA) is preferred.
Experience
- Typically 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with significant experience in Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement, or HEOR.
- Experience working across multiple countries or within regional roles is an advantage.
