About the Job
The Employee Relations Specialist serves as the strategic operational and legal anchor for our presence across multiple markets, ensuring seamless HR service delivery and 100% statutory compliance. By acting as the primary liaison between employees and local regulatory bodies, the role manages the full employee lifecycle while mastering market-specific logistics, including regional wage protection frameworks, tax protocols, multi-currency payroll economies, and comprehensive labor and social security laws. This position is critical for mitigating cross-border risks, maintaining operational excellence, and enhancing the employee experience throughout the region.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Lifecycle Management: Directs the end-to-end employee lifecycle for all branch locations by managing onboarding, offboarding, visa/PRO coordination, and formal disciplinary actions in strict accordance with local labor laws.
- Regional Payroll & Compensation Leadership: Serves as the primary lead for multi-country payroll operations, preparing detailed monthly benefit sheets and managing multi-currency salary distributions with precise attention to exchange rate fluctuations and specialized currency delivery requirements.
- Statutory Compliance & Portal Administration: Maintains expert control over essential government platforms, including various regional compliance ecosystems, social insurance portals, and electronic tax authority platforms.
- Expert Legal & Labor Advisory: Acts as the dedicated subject matter expert on diverse Labor Laws and unique regulatory frameworks to ensure all internal policies reflect real-time legal updates.
- Financial & Settlement Precision: Executes complex End-of-Service (EOS) and final settlement calculations across all markets, ensuring accuracy in gratuity, severance, and statutory tax deductions per each location's specific protocols.
- Cross-Border Financial Operations: Supports business development and finance by preparing investment Cost-to-Company (CTC) simulations, processing payments for health insurance and government fees, and ensuring invoices are verified and distributed on time.
- HRIS & Data Integrity: Administers the ZenHR system to centralize workforce data for all branches, maintaining precise attendance records and generating localized, compliant salary slips for the entire workforce.
- Audit & Documentation Control: Owns the integrity of documentation and file tracking for all locations, performing regular audits to ensure that legal contracts, trade licenses, and insurance policies are renewed well in advance with zero errors.
- Operational Reporting: Facilitates communication between local entities and management by providing comprehensive reports on workforce metrics, compliance status, and market-specific operational challenges.
Job Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, Personnel Management, or PRO services, with a focus on managing multi-branch or regional operations.
- Expert use of ZenHR (or similar HRMS), private health insurance portals, and local banking systems for salary transfers.
- In-depth understanding of diverse Labor Laws, Social Security regulations, and Income Tax structures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Fluency in English; professional proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
