Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, supports strategic decision-making, and maintains strong internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting,
forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management across
multiple service lines.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring
alignment with business goals, seasonality, and operational demand
typical to home services operations.
- Monitor profitability by service type, contracts, projects, and
geographic areas, providing detailed cost and margin analysis to
support pricing and operational decisions.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and
annual financial statements in compliance with company policies and
applicable accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination,
and revenue recognition, ensuring strong internal controls and
efficient processes.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and payment cycles, with close
attention to collections, vendor payments, and operational liquidity.
- Support pricing strategies, contract evaluations, and tender
submissions by providing financial models, cost breakdowns, and risk
assessments.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, providing
actionable insights, variance analysis, and recommendations to senior
management.
- Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements,
and coordinate with external auditors, banks, and financial
institutions.
- Strengthen and continuously improve financial systems, policies, and
procedures to support scalability and operational efficiency.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation
strategies and improvement initiatives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring high
performance, accuracy, and accountability across all finance functions.
- Act as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership, supporting
business expansion, new service launches, and process optimization
initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is a plus.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
