Master Electronics is hiring 4 ERP Software Developers to maintain and enhance our internal ERP supporting a distribution business. You’ll build new features, improve reliability, and partner with operations, warehouse, purchasing, and finance teams to deliver high-impact ERP capabilities across order management, inventory, purchasing, shipping, returns, and invoicing. Our ERP is written in PxPlus—experience not required; training provided. We strongly value candidates with ERP and distribution experience.

Key Responsibilities
ERP Maintenance & Production Support
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance a mission-critical ERP used daily across the organization
- Diagnose production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes that prevent recurrence
- Improve system stability, performance, and usability within existing ERP workflows
Feature Development & Enhancements
- Design and implement new ERP capabilities in partnership with business stakeholders
- Enhance and support distribution-centric workflows such as:
- Order entry and order lifecycle management
- Pricing, quoting, and customer terms
- Inventory visibility, allocations, replenishment, and adjustments
- Purchasing and vendor management
- Warehouse operations (receiving, picking, shipping)
- Returns/RMAs and credits
- Invoicing, billing workflows, and operational reporting
- Deliver changes using disciplined development practices (requirements clarification, design, testing, and rollout)
Collaboration & Process Understanding
- Work closely with operations, warehouse teams, customer service, purchasing, and finance to understand requirements and validate solutions
- Communicate status, tradeoffs, and implementation details clearly to technical and non-technical partners
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer so processes and system behavior are well understood and repeatable
Required Qualifications
- Professional software development experience maintaining and enhancing production systems
- ERP application experience (implementation, customization, or ongoing enhancement/support)
- Understanding of distribution business processes and operational flows (order management, inventory, purchasing, warehouse/shipping)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; able to investigate issues across application logic and business process behavior
- Ability and willingness to learn PxPlus and work effectively in a mature/long-lived codebase (training provided)
- Strong collaboration skills; experience working with business stakeholders and translating needs into delivered functionality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electronics distribution, wholesale distribution, or similar high-volume transactional environments
- Prior work on ERP modules supporting:
- Orders, purchasing, inventory control, warehouse management
- Experience enhancing ERP platforms (refactoring, performance improvements, reliability hardening)
- Experience with integrations between ERP and external systems (e.g., ecommerce, shipping systems, EDI, vendor/customer data exchange)
- Familiarity with structured release practices (code review, testing, deployment discipline, incident follow-up)
