ROLE IMPACT
The Maintenance Senior Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily maintenance operations, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all building systems and equipment. This role bridges strategic engineering leadership and hands-on execution, ensuring preventive maintenance programs, compliance, and service excellence are consistently delivered in line with brand standards and sustainability objectives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of all MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water treatment, pools, generators, LPG systems, kitchen and laundry equipment, boilers, pumps, and FA/FF systems.
- Execute and monitor preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset life cycle and minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections, diagnose technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and statutory requirements; maintain accurate logs, certifications, and records.
- Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, contributing to cost control and ESG objectives.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to service-level agreements.
CONNECTION
- Supervise, guide, and mentor maintenance technicians and engineers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and knowledge sharing.
- Allocate daily tasks and coordinate shifts to ensure effective coverage and seamless communication across departments.
- Build strong working relationships with Housekeeping, Front Office, Finance, HSE, and external contractors to support operational continuity.
- Lead by example, promoting professionalism, teamwork, and a service-oriented culture.
- Address team-related or operational issues promptly, encouraging constructive dialogue and resolution.
INNOVATION
- Implement proactive safety and risk-prevention measures across all engineering and maintenance activities.
- Support and execute emergency preparedness plans, including fire life safety, power outages, water interruptions, and critical system failures.
- Identify and introduce improved maintenance methods, tools, and technologies to enhance system reliability and response times.
- Participate in sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives that reduce environmental impact and operating costs.
- Collaborate with management and vendors to adopt innovative solutions aligned with brand and regulatory standards.
CURATION
- Continuously refine preventive maintenance programs to ensure asset longevity, reliability, and optimal performance.
- Review maintenance workflows, schedules, and reporting to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Support budgeting and forecasting by accurately identifying maintenance priorities and lifecycle needs.
- Contribute to asset enhancement projects, refurbishments, and operational readiness initiatives.
- Ensure maintenance standards are curated to reflect brand expectations, guest experience, and long-term asset value.
LEADING THE WAY
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent teamwork skills.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in hotel or commercial facilities maintenance, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of MEP systems and hospitality operational requirements.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and contractor supervision.
- Solid understanding of safety standards, fire life safety systems, and local compliance requirements.
- Good command of English & Computer skills.
