Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior XR Developer to join our team at Beyond Universe Co. LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working on XR projects end-to-end and developing immersive experiences using Unreal Engine, with a strong focus on high-quality Mixed Reality and Virtual Reality applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead, design, and develop complete XR projects from concept to final deployment.
- Build high-quality VR / MR / XR experiences using Unreal Engine.
- Develop, optimize, and deploy XR applications for modern XR hardware.
- Collaborate with designers, 3D artists, and developers to deliver polished, high-performance experiences.
- Ensure performance optimization, smooth interaction, and reliable spatial computing behavior.
- Troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues across the XR pipeline.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
- Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of proven experience in XR / VR / AR development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Unreal Engine.
- Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine Blueprints.
- Experience developing and deploying XR applications.
- Solid understanding of interaction design, XR UX, and spatial computing principles.
- Strong ability to independently manage full project lifecycles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and teamwork.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building interactive or simulation-based XR applications.
- Familiarity with performance optimization for XR hardware.
- Knowledge of 3D tools such as Blender or Maya.
- Experience with real-time rendering and optimization techniques.
- Ability to rapidly prototype concepts and build proof-of-concept experiences.
