We are pleased to announce an opportunity to join our team at Algebra Intelligence for the position of IoT Integration Engineer. Below are the key responsibilities, required skills, and preferred qualifications for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of system integrations, including hardware-to-software connections.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to connect IoT devices to cloud platforms.
- Support the configuration and testing of communication protocols
- Troubleshoot integration issues across hardware and software layers.
- Participate in code development.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine debugging and analysis.
- Maintain documentation of integration architectures and standard procedures.
Required Skills
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Understanding of fundamental electrical concepts, power systems
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems (ESP32, Arduino).
- Programming/scripting in Python, JavaScript, and C/C++.
- Familiarity with communication protocols: MQTT, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RS-485, and MBus.
- Understanding of Linux operating systems and Bash scripting.
- Experience with databases.
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of IoT, and cloud services (aws preferred)
- Hands-on experience with tools like Node-RED, Git.
- Prior internship or project work in IoT, backend development, or system integration.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies.
