is recruiting for its office /guesthouse in Amman.
Cleaner (part time 50%)
CONTEXT
Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical
assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. Médecins Sans Frontières is seeking to hire a Cleaner for its office and guesthouse in Amman
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Administration Manager and in close collaboration with the housekeeping/cleaning team execute, according to hygienic standards, housekeeping, cleaning and tiding up activities in order to ensure public and staff private areas are in good condition.
Accountabilities:
Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets and other rooms in MSF houses.
Do the laundry iron clothes and other housekeeping activities.
Support the cook (washing up, cleaning the kitchen, etc.).
Sweep and mop the floors.
Upon arrival, prepare hot water for tea/coffee and refill drinking water as required.
Check that the toilets are well stocked with supplies (toilet paper, soap etc.) and restock as required.
Check that the water supply (kitchen, showers, etc.) is sufficient during water cuts.
Keep premises properly locked (doors, windows).
Requirements:
Education: Primary education – ability to read and write
Experience: At least 2 years of previous experience in cleaning/housekeeping is required.
Eligible to work in the Jordan and if sponsorship needed to work in Jordan he/she should be sponsored by organization or company (transferable).
Experience in similar roles experience with other International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) is preferred
