Key Roles & Accountability:
- Preparation of valuation models and building the investment thesis through model assumptions and support in investment documentation
- Analyze financial data, monitor performance and prepare reports to guide management decisions
- Assist in budgeting and risk assessment
- Conduct market research, and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Assisting in due diligence, reporting, and data management
- Conduct extensive quantitative and qualitative economic, industry and company research and analysis
- Conduct industry and company research
- Build and maintain financial models under supervision
- Assist in due diligence efforts and organizing data rooms
- Draft materials for pitches, presentations, and internal reports
- Support Analysts and Associates in tracking KPIs and reports for portfolio companies
- Gather and compile information from portfolio companies and service providers
- Organize and maintain files according to internal templates and policies
- Provide operational support in execution and post-acquisition phases
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CFA Charterholder/enrolment preferred
Experience:
- 0-2 years in Investment Analysis, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or related roles
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and performance reporting
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Added value for knowledge and experience with data automation and AI tools such as Daloopa or Microsoft Copilot
- Strong research, writing, and presentation skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams
- Effective communicator and collaborative team player
- Fluency in Arabic and English
