About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, a deep understanding of software QA methodologies, and the ability to lead quality initiatives across teams.
You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality releases and exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for mobile and web applications.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to identify test conditions early.
- Lead and mentor junior QA team members, promoting best testing practices.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing across multiple platforms.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and ensure smooth releases.
- Contribute to test automation frameworks (e.g., using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress).
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and product review meetings.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience, including both manual and automated testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web platforms.
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Postman, etc.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of API testing, SQL, and basic debugging skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
