Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Anthos and GKE-based hybrid or multi-cloud platforms.
- Lead application migration initiatives from on-premise or other cloud environments to GCP/Anthos.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain microservices-based applications and container workloads.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows for build, deployment, and platform scalability.
- Work closely with development, operations, and cloud architecture teams to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across application, container, and cloud layers.
- Ensure best practices for security, monitoring, logging, and cost optimization.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud / DevOps roles.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Anthos
- GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
- Kubernetes & Container Orchestration
- Microservices Architecture
- Strong experience in application migration or modernization projects.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, etc.).
- Expertise with Terraform, Helm, or similar automation & IaC tools.
- Solid understanding of networking, security policies, and service mesh (Istio preferred).
- Ability to lead technical discussions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Google Cloud Professional Certifications (e.g., GCP Architect / DevOps Engineer)
- Experience in service mesh architectures (Istio / Linkerd)
- Background working with Financial, Telecom, or Large Enterprise environments
