About The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance department. This position involves supporting daily financial activities, ensuring accurate transaction recording, and assisting in the preparation of reports that reflect the company’s financial standing and performance. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, analytical, and eager to grow in a dynamic work environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Accurately record and update all financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Handle accounts receivable by preparing invoices and following up on collections.
- Manage accounts payable and perform reconciliations to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare regular financial reports, including cash flow statements, budget summaries, and performance analyses.
- Contribute to financial planning and budgeting processes to support business objectives.
- Assist in preparing cash flow projections and other financial assessments.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Skilled in processing vendor payments and performing account reconciliations.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and practices.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting
