Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified
Outdoor Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and inspecting home appliances at customers’ locations, ensuring accurate reporting of issues, supporting field technicians, and improving the overall quality of our external maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection of home appliances at customer sites to evaluate overall condition and detect potential or existing issues.
- Perform accurate diagnosis of reported malfunctions, identify root causes using engineering knowledge and proper tools, and document findings clearly.
- Decide whether the malfunction falls under company warranty, requires paid repair, or needs to be transferred to the service center.
- Guide field technicians on repair steps and review results after completion to ensure issues are fully resolved.
- Complete official diagnostic and inspection reports and submit analysis of recurring issues or manufacturing defects to management.
- Support the customer service department in complex cases, provide technical explanations, and help resolve customer complaints.
- Review manuals and catalogs of new appliances, share technical notes with technicians, and participate in training to raise team competency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards during all inspection and diagnostic activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar role (appliance maintenance/diagnostics preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to supervise and guide technicians in the field.
- Familiarity with modern inspection and diagnostic tools.
- Solid knowledge of workplace safety standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple cases.
