As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team and play a key role in supporting our finance operations and maintaining accurate financial records.
Role Overview
As a Junior Accountant at Delta Insurance, you’ll support daily accounting operations and help with financial record-keeping and closing processes. This role is perfect for recent graduates or those starting their accounting career, offering valuable experience in the insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Transactions: Record daily financial transactions, process invoices, and manage ledgers.
- Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Audit Support: Prepare and organize documentation for audits and respond to auditor requests.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Financial Reporting: Support in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Who You Are
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, financial modeling).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Competence in bookkeeping (accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations).
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, and time management.
Experience: Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
