Position: Factory Accountant
Location: Madaba, Jordan
Experience: Entry Level ( 2-4 years)

The company specializes in developing, manufacturing, and marketing innovative construction materials and offers one of the most extensive product ranges on the market.
Responsibilities :
1) Cost Recording and Analysis
- Record and verify factory-related financial transactions, including materials, labor, and overhead costs, ensuring accurate data entry in the accounting system.
- Monitor and deposit daily collections made by the distribution staff.
- Handle factory petty cash and record all related expenses in accordance with the company’s financial policies and procedures.
- Manage and record returned sales vouchers.
- Record export invoices in the ERP system.
- Follow up on all factory staff medical insurance transactions, including additions, cancellations, claims, and required forms.
- Perform assigned tasks with government and public departments in Madaba, such as the municipality, police station, governorate, and other ministries.
2) Expense Review and Categorization
- Record factory expenses with proper categorization, in alignment with the company’s cost structure.
3) Compliance and Audit Support
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, and assist with internal and external audits as needed.
4) Confidentiality and Security
- Safeguard sensitive factory financial data and maintain confidentiality in all financial activities.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
Languages:
- Arabic (Native)
- English (very good, written and verbal)
Years of experience:
- 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Key Competencies/Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
