NXGEN is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) professional to establish, optimize, and manage our QA processes and automation frameworks from the ground up. This role is essential in building a solid QA foundation, implementing effective test strategies, and driving an automation-first approach to ensure the reliability and performance of our technology platform.
Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and standardize QA processes and best practices across the organization.
- Act as the gatekeeper for demos and production releases, ensuring only high-quality products are delivered.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, ensuring scalable and reliable automated testing.
- Plan and execute test strategies, balancing manual and automated testing to achieve optimal coverage.
- Oversee test execution, defect tracking, and reporting, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.
- Implement assertion techniques, retry mechanisms, and scheduling strategies to enhance automation stability.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate quality at every stage of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Mentor and grow the QA team, fostering a quality-driven culture and technical excellence.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing tools, methodologies, and processes to align with industry best practices.
Qualifications
- +5 years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Proven experience with QA automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Katalon, and hands-on knowledge of automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Expertise in assertions, retry scenarios, execution scheduling, and automation stability techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, and risk-based testing approaches.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and integrating automated tests into development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across teams.
