King Abdullah University Hospital (KAUH) is a premier healthcare center located in northern Jordan near Ar Ramtha. As the largest medical facility in the north of the country, it serves approximately one million residents from the Irbid, Ajloun, Jerash, and Mafraq governorates. The hospital is affiliated with Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and serves as its teaching hospital. Staffed with full-time physicians and surgeons who are also faculty members of JUST, KAUH offers extensive medical services and has a bed capacity of 683, which can be increased to 800 in emergencies.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) based in Irbid. The CFO will oversee all financial activities, including financial planning, financial statement preparation, and financial reporting. The role involves managing budgets, monitoring expenditures, conducting financial risk assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Additionally, the CFO will provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and long-term planning.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Planning, Finance, and Financial Statements
- Proficiency in Financial Reporting and Analytical Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar qualification is preferred
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
