Role Purpose
The Country Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects of the restaurant operations across the country, ensuring profitability, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning to support business growth.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including profit margins, operational costs, and revenue insights for individual restaurants and the entire portfolio.
- Cost Control & Analysis: Monitor food and beverage costs, supplier contracts, payroll, and operational expenses to maintain financial efficiency.
- Compliance & Taxation: Ensure adherence to local tax regulations, financial laws, and industry-specific compliance requirements such as VAT, licensing fees, and employee benefits.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, inventory financing, and payment schedules to maintain seamless restaurant operations.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Collaborate with restaurant managers, suppliers, landlords, auditors, and external partners to optimize financial operations.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, reduce waste, and improve profitability across restaurant branches.
- Financial Strategy & Growth: Develop financial strategies to enhance revenue streams and optimize cost structures across multiple restaurant locations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts, considering food costs, labor expenses, lease agreements, and seasonal fluctuations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring strong financial governance and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred.
- 10 years of extensive experience in finance management within the restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost control, food costing, POS systems, inventory management, and restaurant financial analytics.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and restaurant management tools.
- Familiarity with restaurant-specific compliance, taxation, and licensing regulations.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills.
