What You'll Be Doing
- Act as the primary liaison between HQ Finance and the Jordan Accounting team to facilitate improved collaboration and clear financial communication.
- Serve as a “finance/accounting translator” to bridge gaps in terminology and expectations between teams.
- Oversee and perform payment allocation activities to support Accounts Receivable (AR) reconciliation and ensure accurate balance reflection.
- Monitor and follow up on vendor payments with the Accounting team; centralize Statements of Account (SOAs) for merchandise vendors (e.g., Faces) to ensure timely payments.
- Coordinate with HQ commercial teams on AR net-offs to enhance overall cash flow management.
- Conduct regular checks on accounting entries throughout the month to identify and resolve booking issues proactively, ensuring smoother month-end closings.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to support brand contribution calculations on margin investments during promotional campaigns, ensuring complete margin coverage at closing.
- Assist the procurement team with Purchase Order (PO) centralization efforts as needed.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in finance operations, accounting coordination, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of AR/AP processes and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.
