Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the development, execution, and continuous improvement of corporate compliance programs within the pharmaceutical industry. This role ensures alignment with both local (Moroccan or Tunisian) regulations and international standards, fostering a culture of ethics and compliance across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive compliance strategy in line with company objectives and pharmaceutical regulations (including GxP, local health authority standards, and international bodies such as the FDA, EMA, and ICH).
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in Morocco or Tunisia, depending on the work location.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including regulatory affairs, QA/QC, legal, medical, and commercial — to embed compliance into daily operations.
- Monitor and revise compliance policies and SOPs to reflect regulatory updates and corporate requirements.
- Support and manage the department budget, ensuring cost-effective compliance initiatives.
- Conduct internal compliance audits, risk assessments, and investigations in line with pharmaceutical best practices.
- Monitor interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and healthcare organizations (HCOs), ensuring alignment with anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and transparency guidelines.
- Lead training initiatives on compliance, ethics, data privacy, and pharmacovigilance.
- Manage the vendor compliance program, ensuring third-party alignment with corporate values and standards.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external compliance-related inquiries.
- Supervise compliance reporting and ensure timely submission to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and mentor team members, cultivating local compliance capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP, RAC) are a strong plus.
- Fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
Minimum Experience:
- 5–7 years of experience in a compliance-related role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- At least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Prior experience working within Moroccan or Tunisian healthcare regulations is highly preferred.

Location Requirement:
This role is open to candidates based in Morocco or Tunisia, or those willing to relocate. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in these local markets.
