eJournalPress, as part of Partner Solutions, provides Peer Review and Production software to academic societies and scholarly publications. Our software helps ensure that some of the biggest discoveries in science are backed and reviewed by leading experts.
How you will make an impact:
- Strong understanding and experience with SQL (MSSQL/ORACLE), HTML, and JavaScript
- Willingness to learn PERL
- Knowledge of CSS, DHTML, XML, and Apache
- Ability to analyze, research, and solve problems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with little supervision
- Ability to learn quickly
- Strong written and oral communication skills across teams of varying technical expertise
- Nice to have: interest/experience in QA testing

- Program client requested enhancements (which may include communicating directly with clients)
- Identify, analyze, research, and resolve bugs
- Test all coding changes
- Document coding changes and solutions
- Perform full software development life cycle processes (design, implement/code, test, maintain)
