Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable frontend applications.
- Translate complex product requirements and UI/UX designs into efficient, reusable components and experiences.
- Ensure excellent user experiences across devices, platforms, and browsers.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisions around frontend systems.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver cohesive features and functionality.
- Drive performance optimization, accessibility, and responsiveness best practices.
- Review code, mentor team members, and advocate for frontend excellence.
- Stay up to date on the evolving frontend landscape and bring forward relevant innovations.
Required
Skills & Attributes:
- 5+ years of professional experience building frontend applications at scale.
- Deep understanding of core web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the browser ecosystem.
- Proven ability to learn and adapt to new frameworks, tools, and libraries (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, etc.).
- Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
- Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
- Familiarity with frontend build systems and tooling (e.g., module bundlers, task runners, CI/CD).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebSockets, and how to effectively consume them.
- Commitment to testing, with experience in writing unit, integration, and/or end-to-end tests
Preferred
- Exposure to design systems, frontend architecture at scale, or monorepos.
- Experience working in Agile product teams with fast iteration cycles.
- Basic understanding of backend principles and how frontend integrates with it.
- Passion for clean code, performance, UX, and maintainability.
