We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support the financial performance monitoring and analysis of the Bank’s subsidiaries. The role will be responsible for assessing subsidiaries’ financial performance against approved budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, and strategic objectives, while providing meaningful financial insights to support management decision-making.
The Financial Analyst will work closely with relevant stakeholders to review financial plans and assumptions, monitor actual and projected performance, identify key variances and trends, and support financial modeling, benchmarking, and performance evaluation across the Bank’s subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze financial performance of subsidiaries against budget, forecast, prior periods and strategic targets.
- Prepare periodic financial reports, including performance analysis, variance analysis, and financial insights for management.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Evaluate financial data and provide analytical insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Conduct benchmarking and peer analysis where applicable
- Review subsidiaries Budget and LRP to assess assumptions and alignment with group strategy
- Monitor actual performance against approved budget and forecasts and assess potential year end outcome.
- Perform financial modeling, feasibility analysis when required
- Support the continuous enhancement of the subsidiary’s performance operating model
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 4 – 6 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, investment analysis, banking, or similar function.
- Experience working with subsidiaries, holding companies or diversified groups is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the European financial services environment regulatory landscape and reporting requirements is considered an advantage
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
