Hamsa builds AI models that master Arabic dialects — speech-to-text, text-to-speech, translation, and voice agents that hold real conversations. Our technology is deployed by enterprises across MENA in banking, telecom, government services, call centres and hospitality, handling live customer calls in dialects that generic AI models get wrong.
About the role
We're growing our infrastructure team and looking for a DevOps Engineer who's past the fundamentals and ready to own real pieces of a production platform.
You'll work alongside our Senior DevOps Engineer, who will review your work and back your growth — but you'll own your services end to end, not just tickets. Our stack runs across AWS and Google Cloud, on Kubernetes, with Terraform and GitOps throughout, and includes GPU inference and real-time voice workloads that will teach you things a standard web stack won't.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across our services and environments
- Write and maintain Terraform to provision infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud
- Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot containerised applications on Kubernetes (EKS and GKE)
- Build dashboards and alerts, then investigate what they tell you
- Automate repetitive operational work in Python or Bash rather than doing it twice
- Keep staging and production consistent, and support release days
- Help prepare and maintain client-specific deployment environments
- Join the on-call rotation with proper support and clear runbooks behind you
- Write documentation and runbooks for what you build
What we're looking for
- 2–4 years of hands-on DevOps, cloud or infrastructure engineering experience
- Real experience with AWS or Google Cloud — you've deployed and debugged production workloads, not only completed a course
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals: deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, resource limits
- Experience with Terraform or another infrastructure-as-code tool
- Solid Linux command line and troubleshooting skills
- Scripting in Python or Bash
- Comfortable with Git-based workflows and at least one CI/CD platform
- Good English; Arabic is a plus
Nice to have
- Exposure to both AWS and Google Cloud
- Helm, ArgoCD or Flux
- Prometheus and Grafana
- Basic cloud security: IAM policies, least privilege, secrets management
- Any relevant certification — AWS SAA, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, CKA, Terraform Associate
- Curiosity about AI infrastructure, GPU workloads, or real-time audio
