About the Opportunity
A Jordan-based financial technology company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business & Operations Manager to join its growing team in Amman. The position offers an opportunity to take a key role in the development and growth of an innovative digital investment business, working closely with senior management across business development, operations, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement.
The role combines business development, operations, client onboarding, partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and management reporting.
We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with execution capability, someone who can build relationships and identify opportunities while taking ownership of day-to-day activities and ensuring effective follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day business and operational activities of the platform.
- Identify and engage promising companies and entrepreneurs seeking growth capital and develop a pipeline of potential opportunities.
- Coordinate the onboarding of companies and investors and ensure a smooth and professional experience.
- Manage investment/funding opportunities from initial engagement and preparation through launch, monitoring, and completion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, SMEs, startups, investors, business associations, accelerators, incubators, and other relevant ecosystem stakeholders.
- Identify and support strategic and commercial partnerships that contribute to business growth.
- Coordinate with technology, finance, legal, compliance, marketing, and other relevant functions to ensure effective platform operations.
- Monitor the customer journey and follow up on inquiries, operational issues, and customer feedback.
- Track key business and operational KPIs and prepare regular reports and dashboards for management.
- Support management in business planning, market development, and growth initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, operational efficiency, and user experience.
- Ensure proper documentation and follow-up of business and operational activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Finanacial Technolology, Economics, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience in business development, operations, financial services, fintech, investment, banking, digital platforms, startups, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in managing business relationships, operational processes, projects, or commercial activities.
- Strong business development and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Good understanding of the Jordanian business and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, investment, SME finance, or digital platforms would be an advantage.
- Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
- Strong digital literacy and ability to work comfortably with technology platforms and business systems.

The successful candidate should be able to move comfortably between meeting potential clients and partners, coordinating operational activities, solving problems, following up with internal and external stakeholders, and reporting to senior management.
This is not a purely administrative operations role and not a pure sales position. It requires someone who can combine relationship-building and business development with disciplined execution.
