Job Description:
We are hiring a talented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation professional to join our team
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for project features and user stories, including BDD scenarios (Gherkin) and step definitions
- Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks
- Define and enforce test automation standards, coding guidelines, and BDD best practices across the QA team
- Integrate and maintain automation suites within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., regression, smoke, quality gate strategies)
- Drive API test automation and ensure alignment with UI and backend validation
- Establish and implement a test data management strategy (test data creation, isolation, reusability, environment independence)
- Ensure cross-layer validation (UI, API, DB) for higher test reliability and coverage
- Establish and manage a flaky test detection and quarantine process to stabilize CI pipelines
- Drive test stability, execution speed, and parallelization strategies
- Implement and pilot AI-driven test generation within CI/CD pipelines to improve test coverage
- Promote AI-augmented quality practices, including AI-assisted code reviews and test optimization
- Identify risks, gaps, and quality issues, and proactively propose solutions
- Perform code review and test automation script review to ensure adherence to framework standards, best practices, and maintainability
- Mentor team members and guide them on automation best practices and framework usage
- Maintain and improve test documentation, reporting, and dashboards
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Senior QA Automation Engineer
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and BDD frameworks (Behave/Cucumber)
- Strong experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch or scaling existing ones
- Solid experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Strong expertise in API automation testing (e.g., Postman, or similar tools)
- Experience defining and implementing test data management strategies
- Experience testing real-time systems, trading platforms, or event-driven architectures
- Strong understanding of BDD practices, Gherkin design, and maintainable step definitions
- Experience in flaky test analysis, debugging, and stabilization techniques
- Experience in code review and peer review of test automation scripts and BDD scenarios
- Understanding of CI/CD quality gates and automation metrics
- Exposure to AI-driven testing, test generation, or AI-assisted development workflows is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills
