Role Description The Front Office Agent is a full-time, on-site role based at Opal Hotel Amman. This position is responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-in and check-out procedures, and managing front desk operations in a professional and efficient manner. Daily tasks include responding to guest inquiries, answering phone calls, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring accurate room assignments and billing. The Front Office Agent supports a smooth arrival and departure experience, addresses guest concerns, and promotes hotel services to enhance guest satisfaction. The role requires consistent adherence to hotel policies, a polished professional appearance, and a focus on delivering courteous, timely service.
Qualifications
- Strong front office and receptionist duties skills, including handling reservations and managing guest accounts.
- Proficiency in check-in and check-out procedures, with attention to accuracy and efficiency.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, requests, and complaints respectfully and effectively.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Previous experience in hotel front office or hospitality roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
