We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst
who is analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable working across the business to turn complex financial data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

🎯 What You'll Own:
Financial Planning & Forecasting
• Support annual budgeting and long-term financial planning.
• Build and maintain financial forecasts based on business performance and growth plans.
• Develop financial models to evaluate business scenarios and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts and identify key variances.
• Work with business teams to continuously improve forecasting accuracy.
Financial & Business Analysis
• Analyze revenue, costs, profitability, margins, and key business drivers.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate them into clear recommendations.
• Develop financial analysis to support pricing, growth, investment, and operational decisions.
• Evaluate the financial viability and potential return of new initiatives and business opportunities.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to support management decision-making.
Performance & Management Reporting
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs that give leadership clear visibility into business performance.
• Explain financial results and the key drivers behind performance.
• Turn complex financial information into clear, concise insights for leadership and stakeholders.
Business Partnership
• Partner closely with Operations, Commercial, Product, Technology, Marketing, and other teams.
• Support department leaders with budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.
• Challenge assumptions constructively and help teams understand the financial impact of their decisions.
• Provide leadership with data-driven recommendations that support Petra Ride’s growth strategy.
✨ What We're Looking For
• 4+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or a similar role.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and key financial metrics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable taking ownership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in technology, mobility, ride-hailing, logistics, marketplaces, fintech, or another fast-growing business.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Familiarity with SQL or working with large datasets is a plus.
• CFA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, or other relevant professional qualifications are a plus.
• Experience supporting strategic projects, new business cases, or investment decisions.
