Role Description The Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, responsible for driving business growth and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the shipping and logistics sector. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and prospecting new customers, presenting service offerings, preparing quotations, and negotiating contracts to meet sales targets. The role involves regular follow-up with existing clients, managing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The Sales Executive will collaborate with operations and customer service teams to coordinate shipments, monitor performance, and provide accurate information to clients. Reporting on sales activities, market trends, and competitor insights is also a key part of the position.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills relevant to shipping and logistics services.
- Ability to conduct market research, identify business opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Solid organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics sales is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
