We are looking for a professional, friendly, and compassionate Receptionist / Front Desk Officer to join our leading veterinary hospital. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, highly organized, and genuinely passionate about animals.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for pet owners and their animals.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage front desk operations, appointments, and patient check-ins and check-outs.
- Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, and client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Schedule and coordinate veterinary appointments.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Handle payments, invoices, and basic administrative tasks.
- Communicate clearly with veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and other team members.
- Provide clients with general information about hospital services and appointment procedures.
- Follow up with clients regarding appointments, treatments, or other hospital requirements when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Handle client concerns and complaints politely and escalate issues when necessary.
- Protect client and patient confidentiality at all times.
- Support the veterinary team with general administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in reception, front desk, customer service, administration, or a veterinary/medical environment is required.
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer and administrative skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Professional appearance and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Genuine love and compassion for animals.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required.
Preferred Qualities
